There’s been so much business support available over the last year that you may not have noticed some top opportunities. One of the most recent is the Help to Grow scheme, which focuses on providing business owners with resources and insight designed to help them develop and grow their businesses.
Created and managed by The Treasury in collaboration with business leaders and software companies, the scheme is also a major move to upskill the UK workforce and equip individuals with what they need to progress in their careers.
The scheme is split into two parts: Management and Digital. By signing up to Help to Grow: Management, you can access a 12-week programme for £750 (which is just 10% of the overall cost, as the rest is funded by the government). Covering everything from innovation to financial management, it’s an excellent way to fine-tune the way you manage your company. Any business that’s been running for at least one year and has between 5 and 249 employees can sign up.
Meanwhile, Help to Grow: Digital is specifically for businesses that want to improve the tech they use in their day-to-day operations. Offering expert advice and guidance, it could potentially enable you to transform the way your business uses hardware and software. This is open to businesses with between 2 and 249 staff.
