It’s that time again when the self-employed need to submit their tax returns. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year is a little different, as HMRC has said that late submissions won’t come with an immediate fee.
As always, the deadline for self-assessment tax returns is 31st January. However, if you fill in the newly created “Covid excuse” form, you’re permitted to miss this key date in the tax calendar. That being said, we strongly recommend submitting your return sooner rather than later, as that way it’s a big job off your list and you can accurately forecast for upcoming months.
If you need someone to take a weight off your shoulders, the specialists here at TreyBridge Accountants can manage all of your tax for you. In the process, we find opportunities to save your business money and ensure that you never miss a deadline.
